North Macedonia

Has not yet declared support for the negotiation of a legally binding instrument.

North Macedonia participated in Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) meetings on autonomous weapons systems for the first time in 2019, and again in 2020, when it chaired the CCW Group of Governmental Experts on Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems (GGE on LAWS). North Macedonia has not yet declared its position on the negotiation of a legally binding instrument on autonomous weapons systems.
