Mongolia is a state party to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) and has attended some CCW meetings on autonomous weapons since 2014.
Mongolia is a member of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which supports the negotiation of a legally binding instrument on autonomous weapon systems. Mongolia has not spoken independently on the need for a legally binding instrument.
